Let the redeemed of the Lord say so!
I am just amazed at the Lord's grace. Who are we that He should be patient with us? Who are we that He should forgive our sin? Who are we that He should be beaten, bruised and humiliated for our transgressions? I am reminded of the story of the prodigal son. When he returned to his father, what did his father do? He ran to him. The significance of this is that it was humiliating for a man to pick up his robe and run, but he didn't care. He was so excited and so willing to give grace to his son that strayed so far away. PEOPLE, THIS IS HOW THE LORD IS! HALLEJUAH! It doesn't matter how far you have strayed. It doesn't matter how long you have strayed for. There is hope! You know, I watched a human video today to the song on my myspace, all for love. The background of the main character was that he slept with 5 different girls and each of them had abortions. The human video displayed pornography, sex, drugs...bascially his past. At the beginning of the human video Jesus washed the main character's feet and you saw the amazing love of Christ. But soon enough, he got distracted by sin. The main character was wearing a white t-shirt but everytime he would allow sin to come into his life a red stain would be placed on his shirt by that sin. Jesus was fighting for him the whole time. He was interceding on the man's behalf. I loved the one part of the human video towards the end...Jesus, in his white beautiful robe, cleans the mans shirt with his clothing. He takes the stains for him. He also rips the man's shirt off (while having a brand new white shirt underneath, to display that Christ can make us clean again. He can make us whole.) I share that to say this is how Christ really is. I know this because I have experienced it. I have experienced the grace and freedom of Christ. I do not walk in self hatred anymore. I do not walk in bondage anymore. I once was a broken, hurt, shameful girl. I didn't think I was beautiful or pure. I sinned way to much to be forgiven. I went to far, so I thought. But Christ was with me the whole time. While I was sinning, He was interceding. While I was crying, He was crying out for me at the Father's feet. While I was hanging my head in shame, He was picking it up. While I looked in the mirror and saw a girl in dirty rags, He stood behind me and saw a woman in a beautiful white dress. Do you see? Christ is hope! While we think we are dead inside and too far gone, He says, "No my Child, I can heal you. I long to show compassion to you." He gives life. He can shed His light upon your lies. You do not have to walk in chains. You do not have to walk in shame. You do not have to walk in depression. You do not have to walk in anger. You do not have to walk in fear. You can have freedom! You can know that you are a King or Queen of the Most High God. You can walk in joy. The truth will set you free. His truth, His word, is what sets us free. You are a beautiful Queen. You can be made whole again. You can be restored by the lies that were spoken over you, whether by yourself or someone else. There is hope. You are a wonderful King. You are a strong man. You are not weak. You are smart and you are a man who deserves honor and respect. You can be restored by the lies that were spoken over you, whether by yourself or someone else. There is hope. Job 11:13-15 "Yet if you devote your heart to him and stretch out your hands to him, if you put away the sin that is in your hand and allow no evil to dwell in your tent, then you will lift up your face without shame; you will stand firm and without fear." I pray this video gives you a clearer picture of His love for you...May God's truth be revealed to you. May you allow it to change and transform you. In Jesus name, Amen.
